My hoop dance class at Joe’s Movement Emporium has been extended! For a mere $12/class (you can drop in), you can get an awesome workout, learn sweet tricks, and meet other hoopers from all over the DC area. So come on over and check it out! Class will continue one more week in December (Monday, December 17), and then pick up again every Monday in January. I’ve had at least some new students almost every week, so don’t be shy if you’re just starting.

Joe’s is in Mt. Ranier, Md., down the street a bit from College Park. From Columbia, it usually takes me about 35-40 minutes to get there. And just because I love to take a stand for hooping as exercise, art, play and more, here’s a video clip a beautiful hooper doing all of the above.
